HI
I have a 89 honda civic and the fuse to the tail light is blowing. One of the wiring harnesses were corroded and I replaced it and all the bulbs as well. I checked behind the fuse box for shorts and couldnt find any.
I was wondering if the short could actually be in the switch itself. It seems like the fuse blows at the same instant the switch is turned. If it was a short in the wire near the tail sockets it would probably be a slight delay. What do you guys think?

have you changed radios in it lately because there,s a wire for th lights on the old radios that can case this too happen to it,other than that would say it would be the switch shorting out,but if its had a radio installed in it lately that could be the cause of it,the very often get the light wire confused with other wires on it,good luck.
