Is anybody experiencing excessive road noise with their 2006 Civics? My Civic gets pretty noisy above 35 mph and sounds like the noise is coming from the tires or drivetrain. It gets to be pretty annoying as the car only has 17000 miles.

Will an S2000 drivetrain fit into a 96 Acura Integra?

I’m a senior in college and I am currently driving a 91 Firebird with 144k on it and it’s just starting to show its age. Has been pretty good to me, but I need another car to last me until I graduate and a year or so after that. I just want something with a [...]

Honda has made it official. The long delayed CR-Z coupe with a more powerful version of the Insight drivetrain will ship sometime in 2011.

I plan to wait!

Yes it is, same vehicle coming of the same assembly line. These were both made by Izusu Motors.

I have changed rotors before but once your remove the brake caliper on a ‘97 Civic, the rotor is still held in place by what appears to be part of the hub.
I know that normally you remove the brake calipers and then simply slide the rotor off the studs. But this ‘97 Civic isn’t designed [...]

I already bled the brakes, and it ran great for a couple days, but now is acting a fool again. I’m guessing it could be the master cylinder, or the calipers, but not a leak since there isn’t any fluid leaking anywhere. Any suggestions on where to start?

Are there any tricks for un-doing seized bolts?? the bolts on my front brake calipers have completly seized, they aren’t rusty just won’t move.
I am using socket and wrench .
The bolt does move but makes a noise that is kind of like stripping metal .
Thanks in advance
Please advise

I have a Honda Wave 100 and I recently installed a new rear disc brake kit. New discs. New Nissin Calipers, New Nissin Master Cylinders. Do they normally don’t grip at first?

If it’s a rear disc brake then there’s a good chance you’ll need a spanner tool to screw the piston back into the caliper. It cost me like $12 bucks at o’reilly’s. You just put it on a 3/8″ drive ratchet with about a 6″ extention.

This may not help as the image is very small.
I had a cb125 s many years ago that had a mechanical front disk brake. I don’t know if the 100 n has mechanical or hydraulic actuation. The 125s calipers were actuated by a ramp and ball bearing. It wasn’t a great system and was prone [...]

Try Wemoto

also how do you bleed the lines?

Ask this on the appropriate forum at http://www.elementownersclub.com and you’ll probably get a response. EOC is a very active and helpful site.

i need to know what size the bolts are for my 99 honda civic. they are the slider pins on the the brake calipers.

I have a 400ex front brake caliper that is wrecked. Can i take the one off my 300ex with no problems?

Can anyone provide instructions or lead me to an internet site that describes how to replace a 2000 Honda Odyssey cabin air conditioning filter?
