Does Any One Know What That Little Electrical Box Is Called To The Engine Left Of The Brake Booster?

28 Feb 2010This is on a 68′ Pontiac Firebird. I need to know if anyone knows the name of this electrical box. It looks like it needs to be replaced. But i dont know what its called so i cant ask if anyone has one. Need some help!!!!!!!!!!
It has just started recently, the steering is hard to turn and jerky and the wheel does not turn back smoothly, it almost feels like it won’t turn back even though it always does.
